7-9 Grade Camp

Entering Grades 7-9

Summer 2012 Dates: June 24-29, July 22-27, July 29-August 3

Enjoy favorite camp classics and take the camp experience to the next level, challenging yourself with new experiences.  Be in a place where you are accepted just as you are and grow closer to your cabinmates, your counselor, and God, participating in skits, camping out with your cabin group on Bloody Lake, participating in a prayer service, creating an act as a cabin for the camp Talent Show and asking faith questions.  Sign up to be part of a week you won't forget! Cost before April 1 is $325, after April 1 is $350.

Confirmation Camp

Your week at Shetek Confirmation Camp will include the elements of a 7-9th Grade Camp Program but will be even sweeter because all of your confirmation friends as well as your pastor/confirmation guides will also be at camp!  Spend time each morning learning from your pastor/guides and share adventures in faith with new friends and awesome counselors in God’s creation.  Cost before April 1 is $325, after April 1 is $350.

Agape Program

Persons ages 14 and up

(You are able to register online but in addition, we also have a different form than regular camper registration, which we will send you after we receive your online registration.)

Serve as an Agape by helping meet the needs of campers of all ages  with special needs attending S.O.S. Camp.  Along with the assistance of the summer staff, you will be paired with 1-3 campers with developmental and/or physical special needs.  You will spend your week encouraging campers to participate in daily activities/events, assisting campers with daily tasks and at meal times, assuring that campers see the nurse at scheduled medication times, and simply befriending some incredible campers.  If you have a passion for serving and caring for others, be an Agape!  Contact Shetek for a special registration form.  There is NO COST for you to come and serve others!!

X-treme Outcamp is one extreme journey in faith and in fun!  Explore God’s creation camping out on several different islands and sites on Lake Shetek and other nearby lakes.  Paddle a canoe from campsite to campsite and cook your meals over an open fire.  Swim, hike, and worship God over a crackling campfire and under a starlit sky!  Cost before April 1 is $200, after April 1 is $215.
