During your week as a Counselor-in-Training you will learn counseling skills, bond with other CIT's and dig deep in faith conversations.  After you've gone through training, you can return to SLM for an additional week and be paired working side-by-side with a counselor.  As a co-counselor, you'll have the opportunity to put your skills learned in training into action and make a difference in the lives of other campers as an amazing role modell! Agape Program (S.O.S. Camp) Persons ages 14 and up Summer 2012: July 8-13 Click here to register to be an Agape! (You are able to register online but in addition, we also have a different form than regular camper registration, which we will send you after we receive your online registration.) Serve as an Agape by helping meet the needs of campers of all ages attending S.O.S. Camp. Along with the assistance of the summer staff, you will be paired with 1-3 campers with developmental and/or physical special needs. You will spend your week encouraging campers to participate in daily activities/events, assisting campers with daily tasks and at meal times, assuring that campers see the nurse at scheduled medication times, and simply befriending some incredible campers. If you have a passion for serving and caring for others, be an Agape! Contact Shetek for a special registration form.  There is NO COST for you to come and serve others!
