Executive Director
"Marv started at
Shetek on Jan. 20, 2009. He served at Mt. Carmel Ministries
by Alexandria, MN for 8 years as the Assistant Director and
most recently was a Financial Associate with Thrivent
Financial for Lutherans in Sauk Centre, MN for a year and a
half. He's married to Theresa and they have four children.
Joanna is a freshman at Luther College, Rachel is a junior
in high school, Sam is a freshman in high school and Rebekah
is a 7th grader. Everyone is looking forward to the move to
Slayton!"

Program Director
Kristin Ruud
Kristin recently joined our
team as the program director. She originally hails from southeastern
MN. She is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.

Development Director
Kathy
Peterson
Kathy Peterson is the Development
Director at Shetek Lutheran Ministries. She started in April of
2007.She is married to Mark they have a daughter Heidi who is a
graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University and a son Eric
who will be a senior at Southwest Minnesota State University.

Environmental Education Director Vicki
Doeden
Vicki has served as our Environmental Educator since the Fall of
2002. She loves the opportunities it provides to be outdoors and
with kids. Vicki and Her husband farm near Lake Wilson, MN and also
spend considerable time at their home on the inlet of Lake Shetek.
When not working at the camp or filling in at Hope Haven Group
Homes, she enjoys flower gardening, and nearly any sport which
involves water. Using the kayaks at the camp has become a newfound
delight. |

Manager
Nora Dahlhoff
Nora Dahlhoff has been at the camp
since the fall of 2006. She does the office work and all the
camp registrations. She and her husband Chris live on a farm
near Hadley. They have two elementary age children named
Nicholas and Kelly.

Van De Wiele
Retreat Coordinator
Teresa has been at Shetek since
March of 2006. Her husband is Fran. They have 1 son, 2
daughters, and 6 grand girls.
